Brothers and Sisters,
The convening of the 35th Consolidated Convention is nearly upon us. The convention will set the path for our organization for the next five years. I believe the proper path begins with solid leadership who is committed to moving forward and building on the positive improvements that have been implemented in the last two years. Those improvements include greater financial transparency, defined financial approval practices, a commitment to growing our membership, and greater service to our local lodges through increased communication and training. Also, leadership that understands the importance of seizing the opportunities the AI Renaissance is going to offer. The construction of data centers and power generation facilities is right in front of us. While the construction of these facilities will benefit our Construction Sector, the materials and parts required will create a boom for our Industrial Sector. Leadership that is committed to pursue the work required for the building of the U.S. Navy Fleet. We must capitalize by being able to staff all this work through recruiting and by organizing all the new facilities that will be needed.
If re-elected as International Vice President-Southeast Section, I am committed to continuing our improvements to the organization’s financial practices, servicing of our Local Lodges, and growing our organization through recruiting and organizing. The success of the organization over the next five years hinges on all of us working together. We must never forget the past and always learn from it. However, to dwell on the past and not move forward together will squander the opportunities in front of us. I will not let that happen. I appreciate your consideration for support at the upcoming 35th Consolidated Convention.
Together We Move Forward,
Jeff Campbell
